A big fan of drama, we expect the MIYAVI circus to hit Europe hard and leave it with a hangover.

We can’t wait.

In the meantime, make sure you’re following the man himself on twitter @MIYAVI_OFFICIAL – you don’t want to miss any of the random moves MIYAVI makes, especially if he’s on his way to Europe!

FACT Return to Headline The Black Heart, Camden

We love FACT. That’s just a well known fact. This brilliant hardcore unit threw one of the best shows Japan Underground has had to date in March of this year, and it’s no small wonder we’re excited to have them back in London once more. The band are scheduled to throw down a headline show on the 15th of November at Camden’s Black Heart, right before they embark on the Vans Warped Tour. And as if that wasn’t enough to persuade you to get you out on a Friday night, they’ve decided to bring some friends as well; Arizona, Fathoms and a special secret guest band will all join FACT on the very tiny stage at the Black Heart.

For more information, check out the event Facebook Page.
Tickets are £8. For ticket reservations, send an email stating your full name to shinfo@nmamanagement.com
This gig is 18+ only and you must bring ID on the night.

You better send that email sharpish, this gig is going to sell out fast. And if you do need persuading, here’s a video by ElectricBloom of FACT’s show with Japan Underground:

Hotei returning to the London stage with Special Guests and Visual Show

hotei_web_news

Japanese superstar musician Tomoyasu Hotei brought his show to London this time last year, packing out the Roundhouse for a night of some of the classiest rock’n’roll we’ve ever seen. This year, the Electric Samurai is bringing his show back to London on the 9th of November, and it looks like he’s determined to make it even more mind-blowing.

Famous all over the world for his musical contributions to Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill and Hollywood blockbuster Mission Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Hotei began his career in the legendary band BOØWY. His particular guitar style has led him to greater and greater heights over the years and he shows a diversity and enjoyment for music which makes his performances irresistible. With a career spanning more than thirty years, Hotei is a real guitar craftsman.

profFollowing on from his successful Japanese tour this summer, Hotei’s upcoming London show will feature special guests Andy Mackay, English multi-instrumentalist best known as a founding member of Roxy Music, and Mike Edwards, the vocalist for successful British group Jesus Jones. Both of these artists have been collaborators with Hotei in the past and this performance will be a reunion. Known for his incredible collaborations with many musicians, from pop stars to full orchestras, we don’t doubt this won’t be a spectacle to miss.

Furthermore, Hotei’s Official Website has promised a special visual show will be coming to the Shepherd’s Bush Empire, which has previously played host to Japanese pop stars Perfume. Perfume brough a state of the art projection mapping show to the venue just three months ago, and it seems that Hotei is planning something equally spectacular. The show will be designed by some of Japan’s top young creators at RBGcreation Co., Ltd.

We don’t doubt that anyone who’s anyone will be at this show, so don’t miss out! Tickets for the show are on sale now from £28.50.

Date: 9th November 2013, 19:00

N’SHUKUGAWA BOYS Make London Return – 9 October

Japanese distorted rock trio N’SHUKUGAWA BOYS are known for ‘shocking costumes’ and ‘outrageous live performances’ in their native Japan, but on Wednesday 9 October they hope to make a name for themselves in the UK with an exclusive, rare live set at London punk dive The Pipeline.

Described as 80s inspired rock that is ‘poppy and cute. As bright as Cyndi Lauper but much, much more punk’ (MTV 81), N’SHUKUGAWA BOYS see themselves as a combination of their favourite rock heroes. “We inhale everything out of bands like Joy Division, Oblivians, The Smiths, The La’s, Velvet Underground, The Cure, The Kills, Suicide, The White Stripes, Barbee Boys, The Drums and Iggy Pop. Take a deep breath, and exhale this sound,” explains panda-eyed member MARYA Love.

N’SHUKUGAWA BOYS members ditch the band rulebook by each member taking turns at playing the drums, guitar and bass parts. More often than not bass is left out entirely to make way for improvised dance and other stage-based misbehaviour.

Their eclectic style has rewarded them with many fans across the world, with the videos to hit tracks Monogatari wa Chito? Fuantei and PLANET MAGIC on YouTube breaking one million views each.
