Drop Dead x SEGA Mega Drive

SEGA’s 16-bit wonderdays are set for a fashion makeover from tomorrow courtesy of Drop Dead. The clothing brand from Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes has struck an official deal with SEGA to create a modest range using three of its most iconic Mega Drive franchises; Streets of Rage, Ecco the Dolphin and Golden Axe.

“After growing up playing SEGA Mega Drive with my brother,” Oli states. “I’m really excited to have been able to officially collaborate with this legendary name in video gaming.” He’s not the only one excited, just check out the artwork below for the range – even the shirt package pays homage to the classics!

Drop Dead x SEGA Mega Drive is available now in store, and will launched online from Monday 10 December 2013 from dropdead.co

About Tom Smith
Some say he's fuelled on nothing but energy drinks, and that when he visits Japan, he spends the whole time engaging the ground in an all too familiar way. But what we do know is that his words on the country's entertainment and culture find their way into NEO Magazine on a monthly basis, while everything else finds its way here. Be it quirky news item from the Land of the Rising Sun, or a story so gruesome it'd be rude not to pass it on, you'll find it here along with his general posts about life, work and most importantly play. And yes, he has had articles printed in the likes of MCV, GamesMaster, 360 Gamer and more, thanks for noticing.

This was a great move including three of Mega Drive’s most popular franchises. I predict that sales for the clothing should be steady and fans will love the new collections.
