MIYAVI vs YUKSEK: Day 1 – Out Now on iTunes

MIYAVI is back with his second outing under the ‘samurai sessions world series’; DAY 1, and this time he’s teaming up with French indie-dance producer YUKSEK. The official release date for the physical single has been set as 11 July 2012, but thanks to iTunes, it’s been made available early, digitally, across the globe.

To download DAY 1 from iTunes, click here. The release includes 6 tracks, including the MIYAVI vs YUKSEK version of ‘Futuristic Love’, and three live tracks not found on Japan’s physical single release. The release also went to number one in iTunes Japan’s electronic chart.

1. Day 1
2. Futuristic Love 2012
3. Day 1 (Instrumental)
4. What’s My Name? (Live At EMI Rocks 2012)
5. Survive (Live At EMI Rocks 2012)
6. Futuristic Love (Live At EMI Rocks 2012)

MIYAVI’s first collab single, with Japanese hip hop artist KREVA, STRONG, is still available digitally from Amazon.co.uk and iTunes – and we thoroughly recommend it.

About Tom Smith
Some say he's fuelled on nothing but energy drinks, and that when he visits Japan, he spends the whole time engaging the ground in an all too familiar way. But what we do know is that his words on the country's entertainment and culture find their way into NEO Magazine on a monthly basis, while everything else finds its way here. Be it quirky news item from the Land of the Rising Sun, or a story so gruesome it'd be rude not to pass it on, you'll find it here along with his general posts about life, work and most importantly play. And yes, he has had articles printed in the likes of MCV, GamesMaster, 360 Gamer and more, thanks for noticing.
