SuG’s ‘Toy Soldier’ Marches into the UK & Europe, Digitally

Heavy positive rock squad SuG return with their latest single ‘Toy Soldiers’, out now in digital outlets across Europe and the UK thanks to CLJ Records. The single contains two tracks; the title song, which the band say is a ‘hard, naughty military march’ – it doesn’t sound particularly naughty to us, but it does contain the digital ‘Explicit Content’ sticker for reasons beyond our comprehension – as well as B-side ‘Kirakira’, and is available from iTunes UK, Amazon.co.uk and Play.com.

The single debuted at #10 in Japan’s Oricon chart upon release, and features as the ending theme to TBS’ drama ‘Matsuko Sekai‘. It’s also SuG’s second single of new material since their last album Thrill Ride Pirates, which is also available digitally in the UK and Europe.

Here’s a clip from the band’s 2011 tour from Pony Canyon’s official Youtube channel:

About Tom Smith
Some say he's fuelled on nothing but energy drinks, and that when he visits Japan, he spends the whole time engaging the ground in an all too familiar way. But what we do know is that his words on the country's entertainment and culture find their way into NEO Magazine on a monthly basis, while everything else finds its way here. Be it quirky news item from the Land of the Rising Sun, or a story so gruesome it'd be rude not to pass it on, you'll find it here along with his general posts about life, work and most importantly play. And yes, he has had articles printed in the likes of MCV, GamesMaster, 360 Gamer and more, thanks for noticing.
