WELCOME!

Hello and welcome to Japan Underground, a new club night in London that exclusively plays Japanese music! We’ll be holding themed nights throughout the year catering for fans of Japan’s visual kei movement, J-rock, J-pop, dance and more, as well as official album launch parties for some of the biggest artists to come from the land of the rising sun.

Our goal is to create a regular home for London’s J-rock community to meet, drink, party and discover new favourite bands at. We’re looking at hiring well known venues between normal gig hours too (7-11pm) meaning we can all party and still have time to catch that last train home. You’ll also be able to buy official CDs and DVDs of your favourite Japanese bands at the events too, easily making it any Japanese music fan’s #1 place to be!

Watch this space. Our first event will be this November. For now, show your support by joining our Facebook group or by liking our page. Don’t forget to follow us on Twitter too.

Now get out there and spread the word!

About Tom Smith
Some say he's fuelled on nothing but energy drinks, and that when he visits Japan, he spends the whole time engaging the ground in an all too familiar way. But what we do know is that his words on the country's entertainment and culture find their way into NEO Magazine on a monthly basis, while everything else finds its way here. Be it quirky news item from the Land of the Rising Sun, or a story so gruesome it'd be rude not to pass it on, you'll find it here along with his general posts about life, work and most importantly play. And yes, he has had articles printed in the likes of MCV, GamesMaster, 360 Gamer and more, thanks for noticing.
