Korean pop sensation PSY has ‘galloped’ his way to the top of the iTunes UK chart today with his single Gangnam Style, a month before its 22 October impact date set by record label Island.
The runaway success of the song can be attributed to its music video, viewed over 230 million times at the time of writing. Not only that, it’s also landed PSY, whose real name is Jae-Sang Park, into the record books. The video has been awarded ’Most Liked Video’ on YouTube with over 2,234,180 likes, as confirmed by Guinness World Records.
On the off chance that you’ve yet to be affected by the viral impact of his video, check it out below and behold the true power of the Gangham Style.

But it isn’t Japa…. No! Stop It!
Seriously fair play to him. It’s great that Gangnam Style has done so well here. I shall personally be purchasing the song the week that Christmas No. 1 is decided.
